Photography Friday: {Spring Babies}

an outing to see the mama and baby horses.

muh girls ;)

yep, this is how we smile now. oh dear.
it appears my camera isn't cooperating either,
let me see...

oh yes, here we are two sweet baby boys.
one belongs to me :)
Brockman just loved petting this lil feller, so cute.
this foal was so rambunctious, bold, and kind (just like my boy).

i love spring time. next week we will visit all the spring flowers :)

what do you enjoy in the springtime?
have a lovely weekend!
xoxo,
Sweet Shot Day

  2. I'd love to hear more about your homeschooling. My husband and I have always said we were going to home school and I don't know how it happened but it seems like we are sending our oldest off to kindergarten next year with everyone's blessing but my own heart's. I'd love to take my kids on spring "field-trips" my own. Looks like a beautiful day for your family :)

  3. Love it! I loved horses growing up and my grandparents owned a farm in Arkanas. I loved visiting and riding 'my' horse!

    i recommend starting with a couple of beginning homeschool books - charlotte mason home companion, homeschooling - first years -prima press, educating the wholehearted child -clarkson

    and take your kindergartner off to fun field trips on monday holidays and saturdays and after school. spend lots of time in books reading aloud and silently and you will be homeschooling on the side. maybe soon enough you can transition everyone else. and the only people who really need to be on board are the child and his parents. the rest will see proof that it's worth it. i was actually surprised at who was so wonderfully supportive of this decision in our families. my husband's side was and still is sometimes more enthusiastic than i am! and i thought they were going to hate me for it!

    ignorance leads to nowhere.

    good luck, i will be praying for you and your family to find the right schooling for your children :)

    xoxo,
    krystina

  9. Oh man, both boys are adorable but I have to say, I have a soft spot for redheads. Especially the four footed variety. *sigh* I'm in love.
