Pretty Clever {No.10}

today i am going to show you how to make your very own no-knit arm warmers!
i decided to make my "ugly Christmas sweater" even uglier...

cut off the sleeves!

any sweater will do of course.
once you have cut off the sleeves put them on
and decide where you want to cut out the thumb hole.

cut a very small piece (the bigger the knit, the smaller the hole to cut)
i cut that tiny hole and look how big it is when i put it on

oops!
i will have to knit the loops to tighten the hole and finish it nicely.

it's always nice to add some felt.
i decided on a heart...
cut one for each sleeve if you're so inclined.
decide on some embroidery floss...
or some bakers twine.
if you decide on bakers twine, separate 2 of the 4 threads
so you can actually thread the needle and sew with it like this.
stitch around your embellishments
and stitch or knit the top of your arm warmers and place on arms :)
perfect for this cold, cold winter!
now all i need is a refill on my tea :)

i hope you have enjoyed this tutorial and can use it.
and i hope you can link up with me today!
